How do you figure?

It gives one hope and direction..Something and someone to look for when all else fails, it inspires and reasures and makes one feel loved and apart of something.
Being part of something is an amazing feeling

So you think faith in Scientology, cults, neo-nazism are all beautiful? 

Amber-Lee;
Yes

Seriously?

Amber-Lee;
Hate the sin not the sinner..I hate the religion/concept but the faith is still beautiful. 

Egan;
I disagree, delusion isn't a good thing, it's childish, this is the way the world is, pretending it's not isn't going to change it if you DO things to change it instead of siting, comfortable in your faith that you will be in a better place later, you can make the real world a better place



Amber-Lee;
You think making the world a better place is making it more a better place is making it more technologically advanced, furthering science, discovering new things.. but that's not the only way to improve it, spreading love, limiting fear, giving hope to those that need it..All of that makes the world a better place, and faith can do all those things.

Science and religion can both do very good things, and very bad things.
Lets just hope they both be nice.

Actually by that I meant peace and and love, religion is happy to spread peace and love to those willing to swear their lives to it, if you're of a different one, you're scum
