I almost don't have to say anything. This is just an overall sweet film. So cute and so fun.
I have never particularly liked animation when it came to short films, but I love this one. Such a darling old man, enjoying a game of chess against everyone's hardest competition, themselves.
The back and forward shot is what makes the film, that and the warm humor that it posses.
I guess one could read into it, and say that it is a statement on the dark and light side of humanity. But do you really want me to do an over analyses of it? no, you don't.
enjoy the film the film without me English-ing it up.
