They're all means of hope, of living.

How could one live in a world without hope? Without faith.. Godless. I don't know. I don't understand.
I don't believe people when they say they believe in nothing, in science, a 100% without doubt. No one can be completely sure about anything, when you think about it. Are you sure you'll take your next breath? No.
So how can you be so certain about this?
Am I certain that there is a Goddess looking over me? Hell no, but its nice to think so.
My rational, scientific mind tells me that there is not. But my scared, unsure and needy mind tells me there could be. And isn't that enough? That there might be something out there? If that little glimmer of hope that there might, or there could be, gets you through the day or even only the tough times, that should be enough.
That should be enough to tell your smart, rational, scientific mind to fuck off and go do some equations, whilst you sit back and pray, and cling to your small particle of faith.
It doesn't matter what you believe in. Who you believe in. Or even how much you actually believe in it.
As long as that belief helps you get through your troubles.
